If you’re leaving downtown St. Louis, start by getting onto I-64 West and stay on it as you head out of the city. You’ll pass through Midtown and Clayton, and after a while the tall buildings give way to office parks and tree-lined stretches, so you’ll know you’re moving in the right direction. Keep going until you reach the exit for Chesterfield Parkway West, then take that exit and turn right. Once you’re on Chesterfield Parkway, just drive straight for a bit past shopping centers and restaurants.

After a short drive, turn right onto Scenic Lake Drive, where things start to feel quieter and more residential.
